I discovered a love for beads on my first ever, and so far only, trip to Kenya. It changed my life in so many ways, not the least of which was to re-ignite my passion for creating, making, and do-ing. And igniting an interest in beads. I had always loved buttons, with a fetish-like intensity, and beads have become an extension of that...  

These days I am mostly working on a bead loom. I have designed a wrap-necklace, to be worn draped around the wearers neck, like a scarf. Beads have such a lovely weight to them, and the texture of these objects is like snakeskin, soft, supple, and cold.
